Sea Ray 500 Dashboard Refit

We had the pleasure to work on a beautiful Sea Ray 500 and Refit the Dashboard.
The owner is bringing his ‘old’ lady really back to her youth.
Over time, the panels and gauges on the dashboard can lose their original shine, resulting in a dated and worn appearance.
The gauges can also become susceptible to moisture, which can affect their functionality and readability.
By upgrading the dashboard with new, modern components, the boat instantly gains a fresher, more youthful look.
This not only enhances the visual appeal but also improves the overall experience for those on board and the value of the ship.

– Carbon Fibre panels
– New upholstery on 1 panel below dashboard.
– White gauges.
– 1 seperate fuel gauge for each fuel tank instead of 1 gauge with a switch
– New Raymarine instruments.

Process

In this project, we utilized the Allpa Lido Pro line for the gauges.
Initially, we faced an issue where the RPM signal did not respond to the new RPM gauges.
Special thanks to Lauderdale Speedometer for their support and for providing the correct RPM senders,
which resolved the issue and ensured the new gauges functioned perfectly.
Additionally, we took the extra step of removing all old equipment cables from start to finish.
By ensuring a clean and organized installation, we have made future maintenance easier and more efficient.
